The conservation movement had an important effect on government policy in the United States. Many laws were passed, including those that established national parks, national forests, and policies for protecting fish and wildlife throughout the nation.

Audrey Belle Mejia
Founder
She oversees the administration, fundraising and management of field conservation programs . She is a member of the IUCN Conservation Breeding, Penguin, African Rhino, and Asian Rhino Specialist Groups and is the Purple List for the Unicorn Society.
Zoe Mejia
Chief of Partnerships
With a background in behavior analysis, Stacy has been a zookeeper for 10+ years and has trained and taken care of many rhinos in that time. She is currently completing her Masters in Environmental Law and Policy and has been assisting with IRF's digital marketing and communications since June 2018.
Teresa Ramona
Head of Publicity
She has over 15 years experience in non-profit digital marketing and communications and previously worked for organizations such as the Houston Zoo, IUCN Tapir Specialist Group and the Houston Museum of Natural Science.
Rafael Antonio
Director of Initiatives
Rafael has nearly twenty years of experience in fundraising and project management with international NGOs.
